THYT THEATRE PROGRAM

Space is limited!
Our 2024/25 Season will begin in September 2024, and run until June 2025. During this time, we will have performances January 23-25, 2025 and June 19-21, 2025 at the Scott Block in Red Deer.
​
In the THYT Theatre Program, your youth will have the opportunity to create plays for our January showcase and for our Annual THYT One-Act Festival in June, participate in workshops throughout the season, play fun theatre games, work with our playwriting mentors, learn about lighting, sound, set, costume, prop design and stage management, in addition to performing, stage managing, directing, and designing our January and June shows.

Our programming is divided by age group (ages 9-10, 11-12, and 13-17), with each group rehearsing separately, and then coming together for our January and June productions. The THYT Theatre Program is split into terms (Sept-Jan and Feb-June) and your youth may choose to participate in both terms, or just one.
